So it's been a while since I've had a weekend as full as last weekend was. Ok, ok, so my weekends are usually full, but with homework. This weekend was a blast! We started it off by attending the "We Love America" program on Thursday that the first graders put on. It was entertaining, to say the least. And I must say that Skyler did an awesome job on his part and singing! (despite the funny little girl next to him who was completely hamming it up)
On Friday night, the ladies and I headed over to see our friend Hilary perform at BYU in Ballet in Concert. They performed West Side Story and Romeo and Juliet. It was amazing! It was my first ballet experience, and I loved it!
Saturday afternoon, Mare, Kels & I went to Olive Garden for lunch (thanks, Carrie), which was super tasty! After that, we went and saw
Vocal Point perform. Wow! Those boys have serious talent! Truly amazing. Kels treated us to Cold Stone after, too!
To wrap up an awesome weekend, Mare & I made it to the last BYU home game on Saturday night. And we won, so that made it even better!
So that was my oh-so-fun and event filled weekend! Here's to another week... (is it Friday yet?)
